Recently completed, this icon of the new Sydney skyline peers out to the harbour bridge from its protected position in the heart of the CBD.
45dB were selected from fierce competition to design and commission a totally networked system in excess of 3000 speakers across both the base building and fit-out of this high-performance workspace. We even put music in the toilets!
Only 45dB Systems had the comprehensive experience to complete a project of this size having successfully designed systems for Barangaroo International Towers, 1 Shelly Street and 275 Kent Street to name a few.
Exposed ceilings and chilled beam air conditioning require a high level of coordination and very neat installation.
Networked throughout the tower, the system is controlled and monitored centrally from the central control room or remotely connected pc.
Creating a perfectly calibrated working environment with central control and ongoing monitoring was our scope which was easily achieved with our system.

Open-plan
Without ambient sound control, open-plan space is less productive as workers constantly interrupt each other. Our zonal ambient sound control ensures those who need to interact can do easily without disturbing others.
Cellular
Sound masking guarantees partition performance by locking in ambient sound levels to a minimum standard. Conversations remain safe and don’t disturb thos not involved.
Fully Networked
Over 3000 speakers were installed across 27 floors and are fully networked to any single control laptop connected on site or remotely. Full control and service reporting is ongoing 247365 flagging any faults should they occur.

sound conditioning
Usually interior construction methods rely on the fixed components of partition wall thickness and ceiling type. The key to speech privacy is not just blocking and absorbing in this way as ambient sound level also plays a part.
In this project, WSP used 45dB’s sound conditioning technology to take control of this 3rd element and created a balanced solution of all three and took precise control over the resulting build.
